ExeKiller, an upcoming game by Paradark Studio, has released a new three-minute gameplay overview video that provides an in-depth look at its unique cyber western action-adventure experience. This video premiered during the New Game+ Showcase 2026, showcasing the game’s key mechanics and the immersive world players will explore.

In ExeKiller, players take on the role of Denzel Fenix, a licensed bounty hunter working for the powerful Helion Corporation. The central mission involves tracking down fugitives and extracting their SOULs—digital implants that the corporation uses to monitor and control the population. This premise sets the stage for a complex narrative that is shaped by player decisions, adding depth to the game.

Survival and Combat in a Hostile Environment

Survival is a critical aspect of gameplay in ExeKiller. Players face limited inventory space and high costs for supplies, while the treacherous wasteland presents constant threats. Environmental challenges such as radiation zones, deadly sandstorms, and extreme temperatures require players to carefully manage resources and prepare for both enemy encounters and hazardous conditions.

Combat in ExeKiller is designed to be flexible and highly experimental. While firearms are essential, players can creatively combine weapons, gadgets, cybernetic abilities, and environmental features to tackle challenges. This approach allows for diverse strategies, including the option to bypass combat altogether. Cybernetic implants enhance Denzel’s perception, enabling players to investigate environments, discover hidden details, and piece together narrative clues without relying on traditional waypoint systems.

Non-Linear Missions and Player Choice

The game’s missions are fully non-linear, presenting players with clear objectives but allowing for multiple solutions. Whether opting for stealth, dialogue, direct combat, or a hybrid approach, player choices significantly influence NPC reactions, story developments, and lead to multiple endings. This emphasis on player agency adds to the immersive experience that ExeKiller aims to provide.

Currently, ExeKiller is under active development for PC, with plans for future console releases. Players can now wishlist the game on Steam as development progresses. Given the innovative gameplay mechanics and engaging narrative, interest in ExeKiller continues to grow.
